Arca-Majapahit Harinara- Harinara is penggambarann Lord
Shiva and Vishnu in one ARCA. Characteristics of Lord Shiva can be seen from
one of the left hand (left hand front) holding a mace, while the
characteristics of Lord Vishnu seen from one of the right hand (right hand
rear) that sustains his index finger Sangkha (snails) winged. It is in the
capital of Majapahit, namely in the area Trowulan Mojokerto, East Java.
Ancient Javanese people (past
East Java) to make statues of gods for the king who had died. Arca was then
stored in a temple which is pendharmaan (devotion) is the king called dhinarma.
This tradition is not known in India. This tradition is a continuation of a
cult that has been deeply rooted in Indonesian culture.
In the book Nagarakrtagama
mentioned that there are nine characters, kings and government officials who
made the statues and temples pendharmaan 12 years after the character dies.
Three of them came from Majapahit, namely;
1. King Krtarajasa Jajawardhana
that didharmakan in Antahpura, diarcakan as Jina in Simping as Shiva statue.
2. King Jayanagara didharmakan in
the temple and diarcakan as Vishnu in Shila Ptak and Bubat, and as Amogasiddi
in Sukhalila.
3. Sri Gayatri Rajapatni
didharmakan and diarcakan as Pranaparamita in Bhayalango.
